Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA)

The PRA is one of our regulators, the other being the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The PRA is responsible for the prudential regulation of financial services firms, meaning its primary concern is that that the firms it regulates are engaged in sound risk management, which in turn helps ensure the stability of the UK financial system.
