Verify a payee or beneficiary

Overview​

You can verify the identity of corporations or individuals without giving them the ability to open bank accounts on our platform. This verification process confirms that:

  • The entity exists
  • They are who they claim to be
  • They have no history of fraud or money transfer restrictions (such as sanctions)

How It Works​

The verification process is similar to our standard onboarding workflows for individuals and limited companies, but requires fewer verification steps.

Corporation Payee Verification​

Workflow name: Corporation Payee Verification

Required claims:

For the corporation:

  • uk-company-register
  • company-telephone-number
  • director
  • company-website (use www.example.com as a default)
  • company-email-address (use none@example.com as a default)

For the officers (zero to many):

  • contact-details
  • mobile-number
  • individual-identity
  • nationality
  • individual-residence

Required claims:

  • contact-details
  • mobile-number
  • individual-identity
  • nationality
  • individual-residence
